Life Drawing & Painting Summer Workshop

This class is ideal for those looking for life drawing content for portfolios or anyone who would like to give it a go in a supportive environment.

Day 1 An introduction to or a refresher on drawing from life with a series of short and longer poses using a variety of media and techniques.

Day 2 A full day pose after some warm up, with regular breaks allowing you to create a painting or more detailed drawing with props provided to create interest.

Tuition will be given at your level or you can simply use the poses to create in your own way.

Basic materials and easels are provided, but feel free to bring your own media and papers/canvas if you wish.

Possible progression onto NC Creative Industries: Art & Design

• There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
• Applicants should have an interest in drawing and/or painting.

Course places are only secured after payment/funding has been arranged.

Student Paying

Fees of less than £150 must be paid in full. Payment by instalment is available, provided the course fee is £150 or greater. You can access a direct debit form here.

Instalments must be paid via direct debit over a 4-month period and an initial 30% deposit is required in order to secure your place. You will not be able to apply online if paying by direct debit please contact Evening Admissions - eveninginfo@forthvalley.ac.uk.

Employer Paying

If your employer is paying for your tuition fees, an Employers Agreement Form or letter from your employer must be submitted prior to or on enrolment. You can access the Employer Agreement Form here.
