- In order to achieve a NC in Fabrication and Welding, candidates must be successful in completing and achieving all SQA units delivered on the course.
NC Fabrication and Welding
This course provides an excellent foundation in Fabrication and Welding. Achievement of this award allows students to progress towards completion of the vocational element of a Modern Apprenticeship and subsequent career progression within the engineering industry.
It also further develops the skills learned from access to engineering courses and/or other qualifications.

- Three National 5 awards (or equivalent) in Maths, Science or technology subjects
- Successful completion of a relevant access course or an appropriate group of National Qualification units at SCQF Level 5
